Spicy Pork Meatballs with Hot Chili Mayo

Ingredients

Hot chili mayo

  • 2/3 cup mayo
  • 2 scallions,chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha

Meatballs

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 scallions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • a few tablespoons hot chili sesame oil for cooking

Directions

  1. Stir all mayo ingredients together in a small bowl and chill until meatballs are ready
  2. Mix all meatballs ingredients together by hand in a bowl
  3. Roll into small meatballs and set aside on a platter
  4. Heat sesame oil in a skillet on medium, place meatballs in skillet, cook for about 10 minutes, then flip each meatball over and cook about 10 minutes more (until each side has a golden brown crisp to it).
